Your liver works so hard, soaking up pesticides, processed food, heavy metals, stress, adrenaline, perfumes, deodorants, lotions and so much more.  The virus that is in your body also resides in the liver. If your suffering from an autoimmune related illness, your liver has probably become sluggish and isn’t working as efficiently as it should be. The good news is there is a lot that you can do to help your liver recover.  

  • Enjoy a Detox Smoothie Everyday- It will pull all the nasty toxins from your liver, so your liver will function better.  Find the recipe here

  • Eat the Foods that naturally help to detox your body, like wild blueberries and cilantro.

  • Drink 16 oz of Celery Juice every morning on an empty stomach. It is a powerful medicinal herb drink. Wait 20-30 minutes before you eat breakfast. Read my post on the wonder of celery juice. This is the MOST IMPORTANT part of your healing.

  • Drink Lemon water (you can drink before celery juice if your stomach isn’t sensitive) first thing in the morning and throughout the day

  • Limit fats, add foods like apples, bananas, dates and cilantro to your diet

  • Be careful of toxic products.  Look at everything you put on your- skin products, soaps, deodorants(stay away from aluminum)Cleaning products and candles and air freshness are filled with toxins.  Use brands that use natural ingredients or make your own.

  • Get a water filter for your drinking water and shower.  Showers get very hot and when your pores are open, chlorine and other contaminates can get into your skin, into your body.
